Ministries

NS Kids is the kids ministry of Northstar.  

participate in Children’s Church downstairs Sundays at the 10:30am service.  They participate in worship upstairs, then are dismissed to go down to NS Kids during the announcements.  

NS Kids is run by our wonderful team of faithful  and background checked volunteer staff.  At Northstar we believe our  kids are the future and we strive to provide an excellent ministry  geared just toward them.  It’s safe, fun, and God-centered.  Nursery, Toddler Program, and Kid’s Church are available at every service.

Every 1st Wednesday we gather around Jesus' Table.  Join us downstairs in the kids area at 7pm for Connection and Study.  Bring your questions and participate in the conversation.  Jesus' Table is where you can come to search for God's truth from the Bible and share a time of encouragement and growth with others who are on the journey together.  Bring some food to share and don't forget your Bible and any other resource you would like to use for study. 

The kids will have use of the other kids rooms downstairs, so keeping an eye on them will be easy.  And you can even invite them to participate at Jesus' Table when you fell they're ready.  Our focus will be on Family, Food, Fun, Fellowship, and Finding answers.

NS Men meet Saturdays at 10am downstairs in the Prayer Room.  NS Men is a place where guys can be guys and open up about men’s topics in a fun, friendly Bible study atmosphere.  

All men are invited to attend.  We have coffee and usually have a little something to snack on.  

On alternate Saturdays, guys can also stick around if they are able to help out in the food pantry.  There’s no obligation to do so, but we sure love the help when we can get it. 

NS Women meet every Monday evening 6pm in Tumwater.  The evening includes a potluck, a Bible study, and wraps up with prayer.  

The study meets off-site, so for more information, come visit Sunday and we can connect you. 

Northstar believes in being a beacon of light to the whole world.  We partner with various missions across the globe to bring the light of Jesus into the darkest of places.  

The King’s Storehouse is the food pantry and emergency food ministry at Northstar Church.

For food assistance, the food pantry is open the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month at 10am.  

Our goal as a food ministry is to help YOU help OTHERS.  You are welcome and encouraged to come get food and deliver it to your neighbors in need.  

Food is also available as needed Sundays after church in the kitchen.
